I like your take on precious metals for wealth preservation.
Don’t get conned into buying “collectable” or numismatic coins for investment. If you buy coins, buy for the silver/gold content.
Not sure I’m sold on precious metals. After all isn’t it man that declares it’s value. Maybe it’s a hedge against inflation but you can’t eat it. I think another bit of protection is being completely debt free. That way the money you do have goes farther…..

Speculating in precious metals. Europeans did with with Tulip bulbs in the 1600s. The value of metals in our modern society is no better than tulip bulbs were back then. Tulip bulbs are lighter to transport, though with a much shorter lifespan. There’s nothing wrong with speculating, but know that the risk of your investment value dropping like a turd is real and unpredictable. Houses were said to be a guaranteed investment just a mere 10 years ago.
3 month climb back up to $50. 1 month sideways. Then up to ~$94. That’s my take on it.
